I'd like it more if it were spelt ENOPRTY...

And while we are at it, please don't mess up the order and placement of stuff in my Garage! My tools, my stuff, my shelves... leave it be!

And yes, I do hoover the garage/workshop out during and after projects....

Perhaps pay more attention to your own 'condition' as a Psychopath:

Superficial Charm.
Puffed-Up Self-Esteem.
Deceitfulness.
Shallow Emotions.
Boredom and a Need for Stimulation.
A History of Shady Conduct.
A Riddle of Contradictions.

Re: Autism
Anyone else here order all of their Books, Records, DVDs, etc in strict alphabetical order? Dislike 'e' music, as it can't be physically sorted in order?

Socks, Underwear, shirts, T-shirts, sport kit etc in the drawer/cupboard in the order they were washed/ironed, and worn in strict rotation as well? Shoes on the rack in type/colour order. (Mrs TT still can't grasp any of that, it's only been 35 years for god sake...)

Dislike unnecessary change and randomness. Can't go into 'messy' houses/rooms without the almost uncontrollable urge to clear up a bit... (Does my daughters head in that one.)

Just had to change work mobile phone after having the last one for 6 years.. feel like I need some counselling, as all I want is the new one do do what the old one did... Is that TOO MUCH TO ASK! I also keep the car longer than I should, but the last one had a CD player.. Try and get a new Car now that has one!

Re: Autism
I’m ADHD and it’s a an absolute cunt. Anyone who thinks it isn’t a seriously debilitating condition should just watch me performing tasks for a day. Meds help a lot but obviously aren’t ideal.

Interestingly I find there’s a big overlap between adhd and autism, throughout my life I’ve always got on well with autistics as they see life through a similar lens .

Re: Autism
Obviously loads of people have it but there is a certain element of diagnosis of it by experts being a whole industry in itself.

In the old days kids that you’d now say have ADHD were labelled as hyperactive or naughty.

Autistic kids were in the old days probably classed as being clever but a bit odd, shy or a bit quiet.

As a little kid in the 80s my Mum said I got her in trouble with the nursery as I would bite kids and hit them with the little wooden building bricks - fuck knows what I’d have been diagnosed with nowadays.

Autism is far more common than what many people think. What's more surprising is that Autism is far more common than what many people think.

Re: Autism
I probably have it but not been diagnosed. Addicted to word games/puzzles, and if someone is sitting in 'my place' at my local, I have a mild panic attack. If my second and third choice is also taken I go into meltdown.

Lots of other stuff, but I doubt you'd want to read it all.

Re: Autism
Luck of the draw with what part of the spectrum you're on.

My cousin has it and had to be put in special care in the end as wasn't possible for her parents to look after her.

As a youngster I looked forward to her having a meltdown and throwing a sara lee gateau against the wall, though in hindsight fucking unfunny to her parents!!!

Work with an autistic fella who functions very well (cost draftsman), but definitely a bit odd.

Re: Autism
This is just a relative spectrum thing. Most people are in the large part of the bell curve.
